to be honest, you could probably do it in a 2 wheel drive with some skinny pedal on a dry day.

    https://mcop-autolighting.com/what-is-dot/

SAE documents do not carry any legal strength. Therefore, just because a vehicle component such as a LED light is SAE approved, it does not mean it is legal to be used on public roads, all it means is that the quality of the design and construction meet the standards set by SAE, which are very high standards indeed.

    SAE/DOT Approved LED Lights

Now that we know what exactly DOT and SAE is and what differentiates them, let’s talk about DOT and/or SAE approved LED lighting. By law, in order to operate a LED light, or any other kind of light on public roads legally, it MUST BE approved by the department of transportation (DOT). If a light is SAE compliant, meaning it is built to the strict standards set by the SAE alone, and not DOT, it cannot be used legally on a public road or highway.
So if you are in the market and are looking to get LED lighting which you can operate legally on public roads and highways, ensure that the LED driving light, LED fog light or LED headlight is DOT approved and not just SAE approved as in the end it is DOT which says what is legal to be used on the road and what isn’t, not SAE. All of our DOT approved LED fog lights and headlights are also SAE and E-Mark compliant.

Just trying to get some practice with the drone! Quality is actually really good, although youtube doesn't really show it.

Here's some info from DPS to further muddy the waters
    https://www.dps.texas.gov/rsd/vi/lighting.htm
DOT doesn't actually test and certify lights, it's on the manufacturer to self certify

Wow... so basically we have no testing to certify the lights unless it acts against DOT laws. And then we have improper mounting of lights.... So even though the lights are legal, the area they are mounted can be illegal.

A couple drone photos I was able to grab. Learned that drones are like a gopro.... you need a bright clear day to get the best photos/videos.

Got a couple more things in the mail today...
TC uppers, TC lowers, and fox racing 2.5 coilovers, axle shafts, and spacers.
    20191228_155619.jpg
Cleaned up the uppers and lowers a bit before installing them. Started to try to polish the triple bypasses and found that i dont have the patience for that...
    20191229_222723.jpg
    Preparing for the install...

Back from Washington! Suspension came in on Saturday, installed Monday! 600# springs are too soft so @Suprajim54 and I had to add another 1.5 inch preload just to keep the tires from rubbing(was more challenging than it needed to be). I have some new 700# springs on the way from summit! Should be here Monday.
Still need some secondary shock mounts to get the triple bypasses installed but that will be later.
