how are fuel prices in NV on the border, there must be quite a bit of border jumping if its substantially lower!
i know there was here in my location long ago when Iowa fuel tax was 10c less. I was always driving over the river to get a full tank and save a dollar or two
but now its even steven pretty much

You're looking at it like all of California's gas prices are the same. It varies drastically from town to town and city to city just like everywhere else.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Though as soon as you cross the AZ or NV border no matter what it goes up by almost $2. Everytime we go to death valley we fill up in NV before going into the park cause ain't nobody want to pay 5.45 for regular.

Mountain passes are the worst if you miss a fill up at the bottom. Then your stuck having to fill up at a premium if you can't make it into the towns where it's cheaper.

It's funny when I'm in certain places, tourists will randomly tell me "man, gas prices are so high!"

    They still pay it though.

    It's upwards of $7/gal off Highway 1.

I cheated and pulled that off Reddit, it’s a gas station in one of the most expensive zip codes in the country. Two miles away the gas prices are <$3.90.

i recently saw a pump price pic from NJ that was insane
and NJ law i believe you cannot pump your own fuel in that state
the full service attendant does it for you
i may be wrong about that...

@cynicalrider may be able to comment on this!

I think it depends on the bailiwick.

    Oregon is the same way.

If the county has a population of 40,000 or less, you can pump your own gas. Any more than that, and the attendant has to do it for you.

I remember the first time I filled up, there was a girl standing near my car and I was like "Wtf, can I help you?" Then she explained the whole gas thing and I let her do her job.

The Bailiwick of Jersey (French: Bailliage de Jersey, Jèrriais: Bailliage dé Jèrri) is a self-governing British crown dependency. The Channel Islands are the last remnants of the Duchy of Normandy and are considered a separate jurisdiction to the United Kingdom
