Looks like Ironman does a lot of Jeep stuff, didn't see any Toyota stuff on their site.

Mine are -10 offset so very similar to yours. Honestly I love my wheels, just some days I feel like a little more tucked in would be nice. Then other days I feel like its the sexiest setup I've seen. I've gone down this contemplation path before. It'll probably fade in a day or two lol.

Yup, I felt the same about the pricing. Ironically he's actually been wanting to go to an offset similar to my wheels.

It does. It has two crush bars and is airbag deployment tested. I've never rear ended anyone and don't plan to, but I've had too many close calls from people pulling in front of me in the HOV lane when traffic in the next lane comes to a halt.

Good to know. 2nd gen is also rated as airbag compliant even without the crumple zones. I can't imagine anything changed between 2nd and 3rd gen as far as airbag sensors go, but they are essentially triggered by g-force. I don't remember the technical term, but it has to do with how abruptly the vehicle reduces speed.

Yeah, the foam cells are supposed to be super nice. I only had the gas shocks and they felt like an OEM ride. I only changed because i needed heavier springs. In hindsight, I should have just upgraded the springs instead of going full BOSS. Nothing wrong with BOSS, just a lot more expensive. From what I understand, Ironman was started by the original guys from OME before ARB purchased them. They got pissed off at how ARB was running the show and started their own company. At least at the time I purchased mine, it was virtually identical to the OME components (shock diameter, expanded/collapsed length, spring rate, etc.) but for a lot less $$$.

I'll vote for rotating brewery meetups. Not sure how often I can join, but breweries entice me more.

Anybody got a recommendation for tablet to keep an eye on? I'd like to get my 2 older kids matching tablets. They currently use a gen 1 iPad which it too old to download any apps and an HP slate 7 that is stuck at like kitkat or whatever the last update before they required dual core. Neither is very useful.

I'd like to have an 8"+ screen. Expandable memory slot and GPS functions. Ability to root is a plus to me as I'd like it to be able to run the latest OS version. Also prefer a vendor who is going to support it and provide updates (the HP slate 7 received only 1 update. ever.), and would like to be able to get different cases (like pink or purple for the girl and green, red or blue for the boy).

I'm kind of leaning toward the Galaxy Tab A 8" and just keeping an eye out for some killer sales in the upcoming months.

I have had a Tab A 8" for 2-3 years and have had no issues. I mainly use it to have Gaia up on when I go on offroading trips.

Also works great for downloading netflix movies to for when I will be out of service but it is a rainy day at the campsite.

Yo, we should have a Taco Meet-n-greet/Range day sometime. I could work something out with Red Hills Range near Lavonia, Ga. I have an NRA RSO cert and have done some work with RHR in the past with IV8888 and others. We could meet, shoot, then eat some bbq nearby. Typical RHR fees are $25, but we could get a group rate.
