    I've been on ADS for 3 years now, 80% street driving, and they have held up really well. they have about 60k miles on them now and I'm finally bringing them in to be rebuilt, only because my truck got totaled and now I have a reason to take them off :). If you want a daily driver setup that has excellent quality and will perform off-road when you need it, I definitely recommend these. My off-roading experience has been a mix of pre-running, jeep trails and rock crawling and I've had no issues driving to work on them after. The ride quality will really be determined more by the spring weight you get up front and the leaf pack in the rear, coupled with whatever weight you have on the truck.

    Pretty much same situation here. Agree with everything you said. If one gets the chance I recommend to hit some open desert roads and open the throttle up, experience how well these “float”.

    Hey guys, looking at getting some ADS on all 4 corners through Headstrongs group buy. Currently looking at their extended travel setup with remote resi's and clickers front and rear. Debating 650lb or 700lb springs.

    My truck is a 2013 supercharged DCSB 4x4. I have an all pro aluminum front bumper with Smitty X2O winch with syn line. I have full steel 3/16 skids and steel sliders. In the rear i have a steel HC bumper with no swingout. This is my DD of 70+ miles a day with an almost weekly off-road/camping trip. Off-road trips can consist of slow rock crawling to high speed bashing down washed out gravel roads. I occasionally tow a 5000# landscaping trailer as well. I currently have OME nitro's on all 4 corners with 885's up front and an AAL in the rear. I currently experience the front end dipping horribly under braking on the street as well as immense squatting in the rear(and im sure axle wrap) under hard acceleration.

    A couple questions:
    1) With the extended travel, do I need extended brake lines front/rear or both?
    2) Will there be any issue running these with OEM LCA and SPC UCA's?
    3) Im planning on running an OME Dakar leaf pack in the rear with timbren bump stops. Will I need to worry about bottoming out the shaft internally with this setup on the rear?
    4) Stock bump stops up front, will i need to worry about bottoming out the shaft internally with extended shocks, or should i get front bump stops?
    5) What am i looking at realistically for rebuild? I've only had my truck 10 months and have already put 20k miles on it. I'm not looking to rebuild these every year. I've seen ranges from 30k-60k.

    I am still somewhat debating King vs ADS but i believe i have been pretty convinced to go with ADS due to overall quality/performance/finish durability. I was told by Marie at Headstrong that the ext travel ADS are actually extended travel vs Kings extended travel being a spacer internally removed hence some of my questions above. I knew this beforehand about the Kings, and just kind of assumed that the ADS was similar, but then was presented with the new above info, is this correct?

    What do you guys think about the proposed setup with all the above factors? Any tips or info you guys may have on my questions are greatly appreciated! I have read through some of this thread and learned alot, however have not had time to go through the nearly 200 pages so please forgive me for that.

    With your setup being a 2nd gen and your aluminum bumper. 650lb coils

    Front brake lines should be fine. Extended rears if your leafs permit that much downtravel

    Additionally, get front bumpstops. The stock bumps aren't doing anything for you.

    I've been extremely happy with DuroBumps, I dont even feel them

    Agree with this. Have front and rears. They are great and cheaper than most

    The benefit is not feeling the LCA impact a hockey puck that barely compresses (stock front bump).

    Having good quality rubber absorb and slow the impact has been noticable.

    In this case, the benefit is not feeling it. It's part of the system, gradual and controlled instead of jarring

    Do you think 650 is still okay if i am trying to achieve 2.5-3" of lift? I do not want to have to pre-load the springs too much.

    Im with you in regard to the ride, however are the front bumps required to keep the shock from internally bottoming out on itself?

    ill look into them!

    I'd go 700 since you're aluminum front + winch. If it were just the bumper, 650 would be plenty, but as they settle I think you'll be happier with 700lb.

    Yes, with extended length. 650# should be cherry. However, 2” max is the sweet spot for a functional lift IMO
