Do you have the link to the ashtray mounting bracket for that god awful ugly scan gauge ?

 

It’s the pressure the cap holds. The stock pressure. You can get a higher pressure cap but that puts more pressure on the system. I just noticed when we met that the cap was original and not tightened all the way. It could have something to do with heating.

 

It’s an Atari looking deal. But I’ll tell you, it matches perfect

Just took out a new 4-runner limited in 5th gear and got the confused look out of em. Haha

Here's were i mounted mine. I have a temp/compass rear view mirror that glues to the window. Which allowed me to fit scan gauge in there.

 

That wouldn’t be one of them. Tire size has nothing to do with pulse width of injectors. Tuning for tire size Is mostly mechanical with gear ratios.

The FIC/6 can allow you to run larger injectors.

If you just throw larger injectors in your truck it will open them for the same duration your stock injectors do based on factory maps. This will throw everything off.

 

It’s the logic as the methonal kit, you install it with a #1 nozzle and it runs fine ,
Then you decide to put in a number 6 size nozzle. So you need to retune.

So you have to tune for the different size injectors and because you can’t really tune the stock ECU
you can’t go to larger fuel injectors with out An ECU tune

sorry. That was supposed to say you need the FIC to use the larger injectors properly. The FIC intercepts the ECUs stock injector pulse width and modified them for the larger injectors. The ECU thinks it’s still running the stock injectors.

This is one of the many advantages of the FIC.

The only downsides are that the cam/crank signals are dirty and have to be corrected and it involves more wiring.
