I haven't bought a gun in a few years now. Last time, I only need an HSC to purchase handguns, nothing for longarms. I got my FSC, but is there still a requirement for an HSC?

 

Was stolen in 2013. ATF called me telling me it was no longer evidence and they'd like to get it back to me. So, waiting on information from the store I bought it to fill out the california ATF paper to get it back.
