The hub size was my draw towards the Fuse. I really don't care for what big S did years ago over the Horst link but I've been out of the game long enough to have probably missed any newer drama...thankfully.

The answers and comments are much appreciated! Thank you all!

I’m liking the new revel bikes but idk what I’m trying to get. I’m gonna wait til spring to decide haha

Tbh I’d test ride both, at least in the parking lot and see which feels better. As nice as it is to imagine upgrading a roscoe or fuse, If you really need the upgrade the chances are your gonna want a different bike. At least that’s how I’d imagine myself haha

At 44yrs old, if I upgrade I would probably be looking towards a gravel or road bike by then...of course I never figured I'd BMX again in my 30s & 40s either...

Don't let your age limit you! just work around any limitations you currently have. Progress slowly.

I don't race anymore but East Moline BMX Speedway is where I like to contribute time to when I can. Rick Moliterno/Standard Byke founder also helps our local area.

Thank you. I parted ways with the BMC, a little too tall. Went with a Tuner 5-Spot and never looked back. Still have the GF!

I rode an Evil Following for a while. That linkage was a little too stiff for me. Very playful but never wanted to settle into it's travel; got sketchy in the gnar

So I finally got my first mountain bike today. I need to set up the suspension, but did some miles on the local rails to trails to start becoming familiar with the bike. So excited to finally make this happen.

Thanks for the kind words. I have let myself go for too long and this bike will be the change that I need.

    Yeah.
Heck I just turned 53 and still like to shred. I used to ride with a Viet Nam vet that is in his late 60's, and he still rides. Age is just a number!

I can't 'like' this comment enough. Can't remember who I was talking to recently but I actually suggested they try running some of their local bike trails that they might be feeling a little bored with. Not only would it be a new experience, but the perspective it gives you translates to the next ride on that same trail. You'll be more aware of lines and variations that were previously just a blur.

Plus I'm more of a trail runner at heart so go figure.
