How To Clean Wet Oakle Seat Covers

I have a set of sort of dirty seat covers (better the covers then the seats). How should I go about cleaning them?

Can I throw them in the washing machine? Cold, gentle? Dryer?

Hand wash in a bucket?

Any suggestions?

 

You can do the washer. Not sure what setting. Or you can get the cleaning kit from them.

 

Really? I thought I have eard of people doing this with no problems? I wouldnt do mine in the wash, but only because I'm too lazy to take them out and reinstall them.

Somebody barfed in my back seat this weekend. I took off the one seat cover that was soiled and found that it worked perfectly to protect the seat.

I've been able to get the smell out of the carpet in the truck, but it won't come out of the seat cover. I've used the WO cleaning kit to shampoo twice, and I've sprayed the area with the odor remover that came in the kit, too.

Any more suggestions?

 

OK... so in an effort to answer my own question, I went to the Wet Okole website and found that they recommend a product called MiraZyme for odors.

There aren't any scuba stores around here, and I don't want to order online (b/c I want it NOW!!!)... Does anybody know if Bass Pro Shops sells this stuff? I can't find it on their website, but that doesn't mean it's not in the store.

There's one nearby, but I the woman who answered the phone couldn't get the people in the right department to pick up, and I have zero faith that I'll get a call back after leaving my number with her.
