I was at my local dealership this morning waiting for my warranty service to be completed, so I decided to look at this Tacoma that was on the lot.

I really don't know what these types of options cost (see attached photos) but I suspect the dealer is trying to be REALLY greedy?

    :)

That's about 8k in parts. Add in labor and markup... Meh. Steep, but normal for dealer stuff.

Those two warranties listed in the dealer options are just the standard ones, aren't they?

And that's on a SR5 trim line? WtF? They know there's a sucker born every minute and some of those suckers have money to burn and zero skills or or knowledge to do the mods themselves and then there's the lazy that would rather pay a disgusting mark up than do the research on what the true cost on these mods would be if purchased someplace other than the stealership. That thing will be sold within a week lol

Edit: the invoice says SR5 yet the bedside sticker says Sport. Interesting o_O

Bottom sticker says TRD Sport with the same price so I'm guessing someone fucked up on the add-ons label. I'm not even sure you can get an SR5 for $42K.

Look at the OP’s picture of the Toyota build sheet (second pic). It says Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4. The dealer add on sheet does say SR5 though (first pic).
