TRD/ Magnuson 4.0 Supercharger Tips, Tricks, and Mods

LKQ has been good to me. They're probably not gonna be the cheapest, but they have been reliable and done me well in my dealings with them.

These will work very well together and have lots of room for over-head.

Starting to think that those values that you posted, should either be listed by @HPTuners or on FIC's website. What do you think @JustDSM ?

Injector Dynamics lists their values, for each injector size to a host of tuning platforms. Where I found the data to enter into my Haltech.

 

Everyone alike highly of them and @DocME got rid of them for the same reason as he already has UCONN and They do not play well with non URD stuff.

 

urd makes some sweet hardware. (headers) but when it comes to tuning @JustDSM is the headliner.

 

got my trac bar from budbuilt today! now to sync install.

 

ive had nothing but problems since my rear long travel install.vibes galore. now with 2* shims i have minimal issues but 0-20 mph i have vibes. sucks. think i have angles correct but i dont know. wish i had a second set of eyes on this. hoping this trac bar will cancel wrap on hard acceleration. any feedback is welcomed. budbuilt weld on trac bar system fwiw.

which trac bar did u get? their bolt on one or weld on one?

 

A trackbar would indeed help but is somewhat of a bandaid, you cannot have a soft leaf pack and big power like that and not expect wrap. You have to choose and decide which one you want and understand a soft pack will come with the repercussions if wrap if running SOA instead of SUA. I run the TSB 4 leaf with the addition of a Deavers F85 3 leaf AAL (so 7 leafs keeping the overload retained) and I get zero axle wrap whatsoever.

Maybe it is not so much of a bandaid using a trackbar but more of a different approach in skinning the cat, so to speak.

ive been looking at that for years now. but just been so low on my priorty i havent gotten it. might need to take some measurements and shit and have one made locally for a little cheaper if possible . id also would use it as a someone drive shaft guard while playing in the rocks

 

i thought my deaver spring pack was good. didnt have issues until i had my shocks installed.
i have a 9 leaf pack.

 

i have an angle gauge. come to jim's when im getting work done. more minds are better!
