$5 mill net worth really ain't that much. I mean, it's more than I have lol, but in the grand scheme... A $5 mil annual salary, that'd be nice.

I'm sure if you added up all my assets, house, life insurance, etc... that's easily close to a mil. And I'm just some idiot on the internet who owns a couple Toyotas. I'm definitely worth more dead than alive...

I'm sure I'm self inflating there, lol. I just know that my house doubled in price since we bought it, and that's almost 450k on it's own (we paid 200, lol). Wife and I have insurance policies for a hundred grand or so a piece. Plus cars/trucks/tools. Could probably sell the kids for a few hundred grand, too...

As for being in the minority, I'm sure I am, but that's the rub, I don't really DO anything - I don't HAVE to be in the minority. I don't have some complicated investment portfolio or whatever. Just own a house and a retirement plan, that sort of stuff.

I once worked with some guys who said they maintained a stash of fresh antibiotics on hand for when they traveled out of the US and in case there was a major anthrax outbreak.

Those damn anthrax scares only meant a long series of shots when I was in the marine corps.

It was something like 1 shot on your arm; you felt like you got hit by a car and your body was just sore and in pain the day after. There was also some "bubbling" and you ended up with a scab. You received the next one I think a few weeks later, and the time between each shot then doubled.

Here I am, "immune" to the shit and no threat of ever getting hit with it.

OMG - I didn't realize there was an Enron connection when I made that post. But sure enough through her dad.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elizabeth_Holmes

Holmes was born in Washington, D.C.[11] Her father, Christian Rasmus Holmes IV, was a vice president at Enron, after which he held executive positions in government agencies such as USAID, the EPA, and USTDA.[12][13][14] Her mother, Noel Anne (Daoust), worked as a Congressional committee staffer.[15]
