$100 for struts per side, but you have to reuse the coils.

Sure cheaper, but till you install high end and ride them you won't know how shitty stock suspension is.

Are you sure? You have the RCI sliders too right? I haven't weighed them but they don't feel like 90lbs each.

Either way, 300-350lbs extra is significant.

Idk what you’re talking about, my taco rides like a Cadillac compared to my old 2500. That minivan engine must be good enough you want the suspension too :poking:

Oh you see, you never actually been on the trails with a nice suspension and extra wheel travel. I am on my 4th set and know one or two things about it :brianr:

Read up on the preload adjustment quirks if you haven't already. Aluminum threads and split-collar spring perch conspire to make it difficult:

So they gave the driver's side coilover ~1/4" more preload than the passenger side one, to take up Taco Lean?

Yeah, one of them has more pre-load than the other. They come with 2.5" preload from factory if you don't specify what you need. I have access to strut spring compressor (the one that is floor mounted in the shop) and can re-adjust worst case.

I've got fill plates too which shouldn't be that much more.
But the box said 89lbs so I dunno.

I agree sounds high, and I haven't weighed them but I do recall it saying that on the box.

Now that I think of it though 65-75lbs is more like they feel. Don't get why it would be off.

But then again front skid if I recall is somewhere around 75-80lbs and the sliders are pretty close in weight I'd say
