Will the cap/shell/topper rack work with the Alu-Cab or the RLD Design shell?

 

@MESO I just realized your mirrors are finished in black wrinkle and LOVE the look of that. Is it just a pop the covers off and rattle can `em kind of job you've got, or (knowing how meticulous you are lol) something more elaborate?

Is there a spacing minimum/maximum of said tracks? Asking as I know the Victory racks won’t fit my SnugTop cap, my spacing is 38” and they require something wider.

 

must be less than 49" center to center. we give you all the you need!

 

I can get some measurements off my Alucab if you guys need it! The tracks use M8 carriage bolts (threaded part sticking up) and are just about at the very outside edge of the cap so I'll measure them tonight

Also - with the Alucab load bars I need to use their "standard" risers for mounting the crossbars in order to lift my RTT above my Alpha XL rack. I tried the low profile mounts and those are at the same height as the Alpha Rack

I don't have pics with the standard risers since they forgot them in my shipment before my camping trip last weekend. So i had to slide the tent back about a foot as you can see in this pic using the low profile crossbar mounts. But I mocked it up with the risers and it will have about 3/4" of an in clearance above the highest point at the rear of the Alpha XL. I can also adjust the Alpha a little bit lower if I need to.

Sorry this pic doesn't tell much since the awning is in the way. But essentially the low-pro Alucab mounts are level with the load bars on the Alpha rack. The Alucab tent is wider than the load bars so you have to clear the side rails on the Alpha plus account for flex between the cab and bed.

Also the mounting tracks on the Alucab tent are 45" wide center to center
