I’d like to know how I can go from stage one to stage two.? I’m sure it’s been asked before. And I apologize. I do like my stage one though. Thanks

There's so many projects and seperate threads it's hard to keep track. Maybe there should be a sticky somewhere that tracks products coming and going on MESO.

You just need the new red bulbs(4 pack) which just plug right in
then the new switchback MESO bulb AND harness adapter.(for the older first production run harnesses)

 

Will that bundle (new switchback LEDs/harness adapters & red LEDs) be available for sale on the website or is that a special order via PM item? Cost? Thanks!

 

Stranded and looking for help.
Mid-way through the install of my Stage 2 Tails, and one of the Reverse bulbs will not lock down into the adaptor which is already welded in. Secondly, anyone else only receive 4 set screws instead of 6 as noted in the video? TIA

 

You said won’t lock down- 2 screws or you tried 3? 2 will fit and secure the bulb. You have to make sure your screws line up with the proper slots and it does/may need a little force to push down and turn. 3 screws will work but you really have to jam it in there and the 3rd screw really doesn’t line up the best or the screw head is bigger than the slot.

 

use 2 on each bulb and will be fine. The adapters are all the same, so just make sure you are using the foam gasket and 2 screws(making sure they line up with the adapter slots)

 

Tried it. Wont slip in either way. Fits the other housing just fine. The new opening is flush with the adapter all the way down, but its getting hung up with roughly less than 1/8" to go.

is the metal body too large to fit into my plastic adapter ?!

 

Not sure where it's hanging. The reducer section perhaps? Like I said, it locks into the other adapter just fine. This just won't drop down far enough in this adapter even without the gasket or screws. The shop that enlarged the housing checked fitment on the adapter, but not the adapter and bulb assembly.

 

You need to provide a better picture of the actual adapter- the inside. Or better yet carefully inspect the 2 side by side and see if the slots and edges look the same, maybe there’s a slight imperfection somewhere. Could be a easy as taking a knife to knock something down or off
