Costco pricing on the Tacoma is pretty aggressive (for Costco in SoCal) right now. Recently paid $1500 under invoice plus the $750 rebate on a loaded 2020, which many other SoCal dealers I spoke with said is either wrong or would never happen on a 2020. If you are looking for a truck right now I highly recommend Costco. I got mine through a local broker who matched the Costco deal, found exactly what I wanted, and made the transaction very quick and easy.

Can you pm the broker you used? I am getting frustrated reading about all of these deals while being told it’s MSRP+ at my local dealer.

I received this offer by simply going north to Santa Rosa. Freeman Toyota in SR has been great to deal with. Ask for Aaron.

Print this page and go rub it in their pretentious faces.
Fix or Repair Daily? I never said I liked those things... You may get a kick out of these reads:

Don't let them fuel your confirmation bias though.

This is off the top of my head, don’t have the exact numbers with me. MSRP on my truck was 45,1xx, after discount and rebate paid 39,9xx, plus tax and license. Should work out to be around 10-11% off MSRP, which in my experience was not an easy thing to accomplish on my own in SoCal. The added benefit is I didn’t have to waste my time dealing with idiot dealers, work was all done for me.

Several TRD ORs I'm going to go test drive tomorrow:
2020 double cab MSRP: $38,607, online priced at $35,790
(includes Toyota $750 rebate, and offering 1% financing)

2019 access cab MSRP: $38,743, online priced at $35,028
(includes Toyota $2,000 rebate, and offering 2% financing)

I like the access cab for the added payload with the 6 ft. bed, and the OR model is rare in my area. I've also noted that this same setup for 2020 is $2k more. But, I want to see the 2020 refinements?

How can you possibly get 1% financing? The federal funds rate is 1.75%. The bank would be financing it to you at a loss. You'd be hard pressed to find any financing offers less than 2.09% as those rates barely cover the bank's overhead costs on the loan.

If it's manufacturer financed, that makes sense for the 0% offers. I've just not heard of companies financing for at or below the FFR unless it's promotional (like the 0% APR and bonus cash offers some makers do to increase sales volume on specific models). I haven't seen any promotions running for tacos lately.

Most manufactures offer 0% for extremely well qualified buyers, they make money for the vehicle and not the financing. A bank does not make money off the vehicle so something would not make sense for the bank to offer a lower rate then federal rate or they would be losing money on that loan.

I get all that. I won't get tied up too much here, just the 1% number in general looked odd. Oh well... look, a tree
