    I got a keeper style Hockey league on Yahoo if anyone wants to join.

    Pick an NHL Team and 5 players from that team, throughout the season you must keep 5 active players from that team on your roster at all times.. Does not have to be the original 5.. just any 5.

    You might have to cheer for the Nordiques first .

    Don't get me wrong , I wish that the Jets never left Winter-peg , but it appears that the NHL is more in favour of a move to Quebec first .

    I doubt it, Quebec still needs and arena and it needs private sector money before the government will pitch in any $$. Winnipeg's mostly privately funded arena is small but it's a fantastic world class facility that is one of the busiest in North America and would be a great home for an NHL team eventually.

    That being said, I still don't think we are ready for a team personally. We still need a few more people with money here just to be able to buy the season tickets to support the team otherwise it will be gone within 10 years!

    I hope Canada gets another team soon but it will have to come from one of the American cities in the sun belt that just don't have the fan support to keep a team, ie: Phoenix, Atlanta, Tampa, Sunrise (Panthers), Carolina, Nashville etc.
