Alright thanks, I guess I'll stick with my upper/lower split for another month to perfect my form and really pay attention to my weights (I tend not to write them down and sort of lose track of progress for some lifts), I still lift very light, only about a 105 bench, 135 squat, and maybe 115 deadlift, but its progress compared to 2 months ago.. My deadlift form in particular I think I need to fix, I almost always feel a lot in my lower back. Thanks guys

Throw up a video if you want feedback on your lifts.

Feeling a deadlift in your back is normal, because it uses all of the muscles in your back (lats, traps, rhomboids, erectors, etc). Feeling is fine. Pain is not. There should be no pain.

do you “feel” your back or does it hurt?

I wouldn't say it hurts, maybe a bit sore, it doesn't feel normal to me honestly but I don't feel like my form is that bad either, maybe my back is just a lot weaker than my legs? I am deadlifting tomorrow so maybe ill take a quick vid

Yea, I’m back in Nashville full time. Been there twice I think. Pretty damn good. There’s a couple of places around Nashville in the suburbs that’re better though. If you’re ever in Nashville, hit me up and we can go ingest some carbs together.

I’m with Jon though, not a fan of Nashville.

I don't know if low/zero carbs has ever been properly studied, but as far as anecdotal goes, there are plenty of people who live a carnivore diet, 100% meat, and have for years, and report great health, energy, (smell), etc.

I'm a carbs guy, well after meat, but I wouldn't knock it just cuz 90% of our culture is carb-based. It def works, for most, but not necessarily the best or only way, and not for everyone always.
