This is new.. Just found it the other night. I managed to fix a big leak last summer that drained on the outer side of the passenger floor board that you can see in this picture. The new leak is closer to transmission hump.

I’ll check the paper again but I’m pretty sure it says 3. Because I don’t have the pro rate thing.

so far all i have found is just surface stuff and creepers, blasts right off!

but, i need the bed and bumper removed (put on new rear shocks while that is off)
    the fuel tank dropped
various areas blasted with glass bead or aluminum oxide media, afterblast zinc phosphate coating
extreme primer, scuffed, extreme chassis paint with 3x chip protection for topcoat
then I still need to figure out what the heck is going on inside of it, clean and internal frame coat Eastwood style,

I don't believe anything needs welded so that is very VERY good news!
then re-install fuel tank, re-attach bed, possibly need new rubber bushings for that (not sure yet)

the list goes on and on and probably some things on the checklist i have overlooked as of now :bananadead:
its a big project for an old mid west tacoma

Was that the common 'evap drain is plugged or missing' scenario?

Huge battery. I had to stack some washers because it’s so tall.

That is a GX460, it's chassis and running gear are almost identical with Land Cruiser Prado, the 4runner, and the Hilux Surf. We only see the 460 and the 4runner here in the states though
    Edit: I'm wrong! It's a 200 series, so a LX570 or a Land Cruiser.

To fix that leak, I got into the channel and resealed the cowl seams.

Oh it was the cowl seam deal. Okay. So now you have a different...., well I guess we don't know that yet, but you have a leak more in the center? Like behind the dash at the floor?

Testing after sealing the cowl seams worked last summer. I suspect this is something different. The bad part is that I've already winterized the sprinkler system's water line where I get water for the work in the driveway. I need to take it apart in the driveway again and be able to douse it with water.

    Winter sucks!

I saw your post on the thread. I haven’t, I just put the date I installed it. I assume it’s been manufactured within the last few months, as is the other batteries I’d see in the store.
