Test drove one today. The rearview mirror cluster was way to low for my liking. Going with the 4-Runner instead. I was really looking forward to the Tacoma, but I didn't like it very much.

LOL. No, I'm not dogging the Taco. Just not what I was hoping my test drive outcome would be.

Thank you for sharing. This is a very informative and decisive reason.

Yeah, for me the 4-Runner was a lot more comfortable as far as view, sitting position, ext.

I was in between the T4R. Compared 19 for 19 ( because of sales and incentives ) and I couldn't justify paying more for less equipment (fully loaded taco vs premium). Plus, I hate the T4R's gearing. Too much of a boat.

4Runners are great if you don't own a house. I need a pickup to haul stuff every now and then. The wife has had 3 4Runners and they were all great to haul the family around..... anywhere.

Just wait until you need to pick up a tv. Then you'll come crawling back asking how to put it in your back seat

Well actually my first post was when I joined the forum. I was really wanting a truck but the Taco was going to be my only choice. The Colorado has trans issues and the Ranger is like driving a small boat. A few people asked to post when I got the Taco, but after the test drive today, I changed my mind. Maybe I should have put this on my introduction thread instead.

You order the roof rack. Put the tv up there and then drive under low bridges.

Very odd. Only shows 4 posts and you have 4 posts here in this thread.
