Aye of yall know what tint percent does the Tacoma's come in stock

 

I got 20 up front and its close to the rears

 

About 30% I believe. When I had mine tinted the guy said he could match the front to the factory rears with 30%. Went 20% all around.

 

It’s not tint, it’s privacy glass. It does not do any UV blocking on the rears from factory

 

I have 35% on my 2 fronts. Maximum legal here. It's just a bit lighter than the factory rear glass.

 

I just got mine done last week. The installer explained 20 would best match the rears from the exterior perspective. If the match from the interior view was more important, 35 would be a closer match. I chose the 20 (like most folks apparently) to get that matching exterior view. It looks really good

 

The tint place I went to said most factory tint is 30%. As other have said, its not UV protected, they just dye the glass. I had 15% done all around, which should make the rears about 5%.

 

Its different. My factory rear were close to 35. so i just matched with ceramic in the front.

 

I did 20% front and 50% on the rear and it turned out great.

 

I’ve got 20% (technically 18% according to the shop) but tint completely changes the look of the truck.. in a good way .

 

did not tint my rears, they were already factory tinted. Did 30 on the fronts and they are pretty close. My installer said 20 might match closer, but our state laws could ticket me at 20, but not 30, our law is 24.

 

Factory isn’t actually tint. It’s dyed privacy glass. So no UV blocking

You gotta live a little dangerously and get them matched.

I went with 20% all the way around and it looks mint

 

I did 20% on the front and 40% on the rear. It meters 15% front and 13% rear.

 

The tint man told me slider and rears metered at 30% stock. Finished product was 8% rears, 20% fronts.

 

On my previous truck I only tinted the two front windows and not the factory colored glass which didn’t make much difference in keeping the interior cooler. On this one I did ceramic in 15% on the front and 35% over the factory dyed rear windows, keeps the interior a lot cooler. I highly recommend tinting over the factory colored windows along with the driver and passenger windows.

 

I'd like to do 20-30 up front but Commiefornia has weird tint rules so probably 50 or 70.
