You can call BS all you want on the fact that mods have broken COC and BST.....but they have and they are still here moderating and no action will ever be taken against them.....anyone else here in this thread though.....we better be walking on fucking eggshells.

 

I picked possibly one of the most conservatively dressed anime characters in existence, mind you...

I submit for review the official artwork of said character:

Her shirt isn't peeled back, it's a frilly collar of some sort. Firing back with an argument like that holds precious little water, my friend. Unless we have arbitrarily decided that any & all anime style designs are purely sexual in nature, in which case we've gone so far past nuclear level puritanical that male strippers are permaban worthy anyways.

That's neither here nor there though, I appreciate that this whole thing is a step in the right direction.
I tried not to get involved in most of the shitstorms in the past, but when there was some drama over what was seen as unjust, the response from the moderation team was not remotely conciliatory.
I readily accept that I may be wrong, but I think I speak for plenty of people when I say that the vibe given off from moderation staff was very much "hahahah you can't say shit about it, we're mods! :^) "

Today though the tone is different, because there's an actual acknowledgement that things can be improved and a definite action plan to do so.
Too little too late maybe, but that's not for me to decide and time will tell.

Carry on, I'm about to keep on plugging away at this garage remodel.

So my packages that arrived from the cabinet maker... was the doors, and the wall mount, but no cabinet. Looks like I'm not hanging a cabinet this weekend!

Scooted even more loads of stuff out of the garage though. Threw away piles of stuff, put other things aside, and got the shelving unit out of the way.



I moved the cabinet template over to the other wall and then nosed in the truck a bit further into the garage than it usually sits.



Of course there's still stuff all over the floor that's currently unorganized, but this makes for so much more breathing room up front without the shelving unit. Thinking this will be a good spot for compressor, power washer, mini workstation to be pushed up against the wall.
