My Carhartt pants will not ignite and I've never been burned through them. My fucking Norco jacket on the other hand...

 

If 480 arcs on to you, you likely wont be alive to worry about it haha. Need an arc flash suit if your worried about it.

 

Only carhartt stuff I have is a hand me down, no idea where I got it. But it’s warm so I wear it when I hunt

 

I lit my carhartt rain defender hoodie on fire once. Turns out it was like 100% poly and very flammable.

 

I've never had one of their jackets or shirts. Hats and pants seem to be what they're best at. That said I've lit many north face jackets on fire welding and working on cars.

 

Their pants are nice, but pricey. I like Dickies work pants if I buy something other than plain old jeans. Goodwill cotton t shirts and either my miller welding jacket or some sleeves. If its Tig, a good long sleeve tee is great.

 

I know that feeling. I've got Tacoma parts, LC parts, Z parts.... All over. Started organizing Z parts since they're light

 

I have a pair of their rip stop pants, but since I do mostly welding and fabrication work now throwing sparks is pretty much my job so.wearing meltable pants is a huge no no.

Funny, I went in as a welder. Yet here lately all I do is stand in front of a lathe all day. Good job if your okay with being alone with your thoughts for long periods of time, so not for me haha.

Standalone freezer and I think the magnet is failing

 

So, I decided to hold off on the ARB bumper for now...put another feeler for a transmission and transfer case.

If I don't find one this month, then I'll buy one straight from that salvage yard in RC.

@Uphillshunter which twin stick setup did you get exactly?

I ask because the Trail Gear setup listed by LCE states it's not meant for a chain driven transfer case, yet I thought 1st gen's were all in fact CD?

 

You can probably get the part number off sears part direct.

Yes, all 1st gen Tacos are chain driven... I think all Tacomas are chain driven.
