What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Drove it to Olde Town Arvada (Denver suburb) to watch the A&M game.

 

I think it is some kind of rule that if you have both you have to post on both (or something).

 

Installed my Redline hood lift I got on the last group buy. Got it washed at the local car-o-matic wash joint.

 

Installed my prinsu today and added some fake rigid scene lights to the side. Haven't wired them up yet.

 

I need to tape a list to the lid of mine so I can remember what all is in there. I have a ton of crap for truck survival in there (tools, ammo, hand wipes, gloves, a Tyvek coverall, etc.) but I often forget what it is. I keep a jacket and a few other things on the seat behind my driver's seat for emergency purposes.

If I delete the sway bar how will my truck handle differently?

 

I installed most of a 3" body lift. I'd really regret it IF the truck didn't have steps. Idk who designed this body lift but they weren't very good fabricators. I've got a lot of extra bolts and crap that wasn't necessary. The mid cab mount sticks out like a sore thumb, no wonder big tires hit that thing. "Off with its head!" is in its future.

 

Picked up a pelfreybilt front aluminum bumper, rear bumper, full skids, tailgate skin, and lights from my boy @tblizzard! Stand up guy to do business with and he still has a bunch of cool shit for sale, including a supercharger! Check it out!

I professionally installed for 36 years. These should fit my intended use great, according to the specs of them. They play down to 30 Hz and yours probably do too.

 

Yah all I have is a head unit upgrade, amp and subs might be in the near future. For now, I’m impressed.

 

Put in a new USB port for the new head unit

 

Yeah my friends are super supportive of the amount of crap I put on my truck. And prinsu just says to use common sense but I know it can hold a roof top tent

 

Cons: More body roll when turning or high speed maneuvering.

Pros: Less jolts from bumps since the impacts aren't transferred from side to side nearly as much. Little more suspension travel. -20ish pounds of weight (every ounce helps )

I drive like an old man when on the road and barely noticed a difference when I first took mine off.

 

My dog likes to put his head out the window, but I'm kinda paranoid he might try to jump out so I made this little piece that snaps into the buckle and I can attach a little leash to his harness so he can only go so far. He's small and this thing is strong af.
