Oh, a little.... 3/8" ar grade 500! We wanted something to make a backstop for the Barrett .50 Cal. Got a deal on a mess of armor plating, so why not?

1-1.5 if we're faithful. Turning on the oil heat is easy/tempting but more expensive. But even the worst cold we will need oil anyway.

Wow... Tough crowd. I guess I should have not tried to make the joke. I literally stated I was on the phone trying to straighten things out with Amazon. The part I thought was funny is that it took me 5 minutes to call up and get a new set of tires sent to me when I thought the shipment didn't come (pretty good customer service), and I was on the phone for almost 40 minutes trying to get them to cancel the order, and after going through 2 different levels of people, I was given the answer that they don't know if they would be able to stop the shipment or not, and couldn't tell me what to do if the tires got sent to me. They told me that reverse shipping may be prohibitive but assured me that I wouldn't get charged for two sets. This was about an hour after the first call to Amazon, and 8 days before I was supposed to get the new tires. That's why I was frustrated, and why I wrote the post while on hold about 35 minutes into the call.

Thanks for jumping on a new guy. Hope the winter deliveries go well for you.

    Don

    I have an electrical/headlight question:
I replaced my factory lights with these:
Spyder Auto PRO-YD-TT05-HL-C Toyota Tacoma Chrome Halo LED Projector Headlight with Replaceable LEDs
These take an H1 bulb. These bulbs are lasting 4-5 months at best. Do I need to install a resistor or surge protector? I have purchased the 'better' Sylvania bulbs and still they burn out. Any advice??
