I am going to guess this is normal, but I want to get the thoughts of folks with more Tacoma experience than myself.

When the AC is off and the blower motor is off and on OUTSIDE AIR mode, when the truck is moving air comes out the vents, when stationary no air comes out the vent. When I change to recirculation mode no air comes out the vent.

I am guessing this is normal and there is a baffle that closes the outside vent between the windshield and hood and prevents outside air from being forced into the fresh air intake when in recirculation mode.

^^^ Quickest response in the history of responses. Less than one minute from the time I pressed submit until you replied.

    Thank you very much!

Fresh air let's fresh air in. Recirc uses the current air. Makes perfect sense.

Guess I never really noticed any air coming through the vents with the blower motor off. I have always run it in recirculation mode until the past week or two.
