sso hybrid bumper arrived this afternoon, a couple of days early. started getting the X20 smittybilt comp winch setup, got the control box relocated to the side mount position and realigned some of the wiring attached to the control box.

Oregon requires that we display a front license plate:( so i got a flip up holder from Cascade 4x4, sturdy aluminum construction.

tomorrow, bolt the winch to the bumper, get the rope on the spool and start prepping the truck for the bumper.

What wheels are these? Probably the best looking I've seen on a Tacoma yet!

That hitch grill is pretty nice. It'd be hard to feed a crowd though.

Here in Eastern North Carolina, pig cookers are the thing. There are simple ones, fancy ones, homemade ones, commercially made ones, small ones, and big ones. They're everywhere !

Some are wood fired, or charcoal fired, but most seem to be propane fired.

Hank Hill would love it here !

This is a small one made by BQ Grills in Elm City, NC.

Been using them for many years as a shaving kit, nothing better for the long walk to the shower on a Middle East deployment.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
I use that same bag for my Viair. Don't forget to toss a tire patch kit in there, plenty of room.

    Thanks Ron!

The grill is sold under the brand name "Pilot Rock" made by the R.J. Thomas Manufacturing Co. Chances are that you've unknowingly used one of their products before. They make an array of commercial products like grills, fire rings, picnic tables, benches, bike racks, ect. Check out their site on the web. Their items are built to last and they are great folks to deal with.

Have a good day Bud and Thanks!

You definitely wouldn't see my bumper hauling that around and it would look good on the back of my Tacoma! Wonder if they make high temp paint in Magnetic Gray Metallic? :D

You're making me hungry Bud! :goingcrazy:

Me neither. I know how to make the connections properly, correct connectors, solder, heat shrink tubing, ect., but when it comes to what wires go where we'll that's another issue.
Sure someone here can walk you through it if you explain what you are trying to do. Some of our members are amazing with their 12V DC electrical skills. I'm always afraid I'll smoke the computer so I tread lightly when doing my own electrical.
I can wire a whole house but when it comes to my Tacoma I'm a babe in the woods! o_O
On the bright side you have warm weather to do the job. Cold as hell here!
