How wide is that box? I had the same socket trays and gave them away since I didn’t like how much space they took up.
I’m considering looking into a magnetic option, but not a limited size range since I’d want whatever I have to all be on the rail, with a rail for 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2.

Maybe there’s already something that would fit my OCD, and not be crazy expensive.

I’d really like something for my screwdrivers, too.

    Nice setup!
With the two sidepieces, there's no interference if you wanted to stick an upper 44" on the bottom 44"?

I personally like the twist-lock socket set organizers best. I have tried most after pulling wrench’s for 50 years.

56” box. I wish the two 1/2” trays would fit side by side but I don’t really use SAE at all so not a big deal.

I have tried the style where the sockets lay on their side in a curved magnetic slot and it wasn’t bad but I actually like this peg style more. Don’t like the styles where they click in on the square ratchet side since it’s a pain to always line up versus just dropping onto a peg.

I’m very much a organizer freak so I’m always rearranging and finding new ways of doing it but I like my current setup for now. I do just have my screwdrivers laying loose but in order and neatly, they actually stay in their spots when opening and closing drawer.

Negative, fits perfect! My local store typically has these setup fully with what you see in my pics plus the top box. It’s a hair narrower for ease of fitment.

I might just grab this set one day and use my existing screwdrivers for work, if this case fits in my drawer.

I’ve seen those. I like the locking feature especially if I’m grabbing a tray and taking it out of the drawer.
I think my problem is that I’m trying to fit more sockets in the drawer than I need to. Seems like at first I wanted all the chrome and impact stuff to be in the same drawer. I went through the top box a bit whenever I cleaned out the garage last (2-3 weeks ago?) and I think I changed it a little. I bought a second set of cheap HF organizer trays to use with the impact sockets I have, which before were just kind of sitting in the drawer, but can’t remember if I used the tray or just flipped them over drive side down so they didn’t topple over if I closed the drawer hard or something.

    Fuck my memory sucks!

I don’t see myself with a top box, ever. I am hoping that one day they offer a hutch for the 44”, I’d much prefer an enclosed workstation for my needs. I have way more box than I have tools, if I ever fill it I’d probably pick up a slide top roll cart and use the main box for storage, but again.. unlikely scenario for me.

I dunno. Everything’s blurry. I delivered him myself in our downstairs bathroom.. you wouldn’t believe what my last photographic memory looks like.

Worked out great. Not the way we planned, but healthy baby and an experience I wouldn’t have imagined.
