Prime Toyota, rt2. Give them a call dealt with them 3 times, had fantastic experiences. Nashua got lucky and beat them out twice, but hindsight being 20-20 I should have just done business with them.

They were able to track down a manual each time. ORSB

Edit- short bed.... No shit. Let's pretend that didn't happen.

Porsche did that for decades with the 911.

I didn't even test drive a manual 3G. I didn't love the auto in my 2G and read all the feedback on the 3G auto and said it can't be worse than the auto.

I'd highly recommend doing the ECGS bushing while you're in there. It doesn't add that much in terms of cost / time / complexity and it guarantees you won't have vibration issues. It SUCKED tearing everything apart and begging people on here for help. The second time around I pre-emptively did it and it was well, well worth it.

It's not terribly hard to do once you actually get in there (and jam some plastic into the diff opening so the piece doesn't fall in) but it was definitely nerve wracking when I did it the second time. My best friend is very, very good mechanically and always supernaturally calm, so I had him help me set it up. Getting the puller threaded is the hardest part. Once you do that, you're golden.

MA ain't that much better... But the tools are over priced. The removal tool is a modified t-slot nut, threaded rod, flat stock with a hole, and a nut. The install tool is 2 pieces out of the harbor freight bearing race/seal driver kit. Use a coupon or buy it on sale at your local harbor freight and save some money and have the whole kit for other things.

Yup. Nice couple easy trails up here too if you want to see how it is in low range too.

Either way, my truck is a bit happier today. Fluids and filters done, and a light douching.

I installed my seal with a block of wood. Think I used a socket for the egcs bearing

I use a socket or an extension to put the seal in, my inner rear axle seals I put in with the seal driver kit though, worked awesome

Sounds like install is on hold until I order the clamshell then. Wish I can just get the lift done now. Looking at the parts sitting on the floor is driving me crazy!

I know how it is. I just need to order rear shocks pretty much and I'll have my parts to redo my rear setup
