Interesting. Now I can drive that damn truck so fast without vibes that if I got stopped by a state police, I would be thrown under the jail.

Its hard to resist the running the little race truck.

Measuring the joint angle is simple enough. Tundra and both tacos were fine.

I won't do it all the time.. Its just easy to do.. The tires, size, and wheel combo helps it hug the road.

i try to keep it under 90 in the trucks.... gas mileage really takes a hit at above that. tundra gets its best at 65. tacos about 65 too.

That's basically my Z except the t-top covers in the back area might fly from one side to the other and you can probably get away with it at 50mph if the pavement is dry

Yeah but other than everything being new, it's still stock replacement stuff minus the poly bushings everywhere. The trailing arm rear and McPherson front handles well but it could do better if I lowered it and fixed the rear camber

the corolla. with all original suspension except struts... handles like a god damn dream. Original ball joints, control arms, bushings, tie rods. etc. She handles just as good as a new one.

My taco is smooth as glass with only 1.5" of lift and 3 degree shims. Most say to only shim after 2", I'd do it on any amount of lift.

The 2nd gens are more finicky. Took 2 degree shims and a carrier bearing drop to get the 08 smooth in the back. And the stupid ecgs needle bearing fix for the front diff.

Eh, we're close enough to ecgs so he just took it straight to them to have it done. $160 and no problems since. Except they found a bad rear wheel bearing and tacked $600 on top of the bill to fix it.
