Thank you, I wasn't sure if I was missing something or maybe didn't tighten the mounting brackets all the way. They came with this strip of some black sticky foam material, thought maybe it was used to provide some spacing somewhere? Idk, ordered from Amazon and my box didn't have instructions.

I never knew you had a TEQ grille emblem. You must post a picture now ;)

You will be the ONLY person who can ever see that. That being said, it might drive you batty. I’m so tossed between BDs and factory pros.

What’s the quality like so far? Can it be tightened up more? It looks loose.

Its in my mod pile somewhere and it's a big pile with lots of smalls. I'll have to dig. Let me see if I can figure out who I bought it from and I'll provide the source.

Installed my Beast Fab sliders today! They stick out a little further than I would like, but overall I'm happy with the look and quality of them.

    Hi Tom,
Wow, talk about opening Pandoras Box! I'd have bet the farm that I wouldn't have found it that easily. I wasn't kidding when I said a huge mod pile, it's almost embarrassing. After looking at it all I may need a suspension upgrade and higher rated tires.
    20191117_151854.jpg
Apologize for the picture being upside down.
I purchased the emblem from @Indyfjcruisers.
They offer numerous options and choices. You can Google them at www.fjcruisernation.com.
As you can see from me tagging them they are also a vendor here. Don't remember the cost.
    Hope this helps

Has anyone got rid of the chrome around the push to start button? I’ve seen a couple decals but nothing else.

Did the front cam addition. Didn’t quite fit like I wanted it to. Had to put it behind the grill. But I’ll fix that later when I put on my SSO Slimline Bumper. Had the front cam right and left inverted and couldn’t figure it out. Finally I checked the input and my 16 yr old plugged it into the the rear cam input instead of the front. Sitting in the mod pile would explain why I’ve never seen it on your truck! I have the same huge pile of small parts that all deserve their portion of my very limited amount of time. I appreciate the links, but was really just interested in seeing it on your truck. Time or money, always out of one or the other!

More often than not I'm usually out of both!
I remember hearing somewhere that it gets easier as you get older............., I wonder who came up with that lie?
Hopefully this Spring I'll get caught up with this mod pile and then I'll do a walk around.
Still in for that bumper if I can get them to fab us one?

In a heartbeat. I’ve sent requeats to a few myself as well. Victory and one I hadn’t heard of before called DV8. Thought they had an interesting one because it requires zero cutting.

    https://dv8offroad.com/collections/toyota-bumpers/products/fbtt1-05

I wonder how hard it would be to weld a hitch into an existing one.

Got the fairlead plate, the rope and license plate holder installed. Had a tough time attaching the winch to the bumper. My hands are too big to fit into the space available to get the long bolts easily started. Took some time messing around with different ways to get them started. Finally, used a long pair of pliers to feed in the bolt and stand it up on its head then lowered the winch on to them. Had to tap on the two nuts to get them to fit flush enough to accept the bolt. then used tape to hold the other two in place so they wouldn’t move. took off some skin off my knuckles but got my finger tips in there to get the bolt to sit correctly then got them started enough to get a wrench on them. No problem with the rear which had plenty of room for my hands.

    Prep truck tomorrow!

Just kidding put on blackout stickers on my stock wheels. Unfortunately I tore a couple of them and ended up one sticker short. Hopefully I can get another one without paying for a full set.

Interesting use of your bed mat. Now that's thinking outside the box. Looking forward to seeing the final result. Nice job so far.:thumbsup:
