I think this coming week is fixing to get real. Ole big boys are packing on the food getting ready for some loven. Hope the wife can get this big one, she’s been trying everyday for two weeks but hasn’t seen him.

well my big boys from 2 months ago finally showed back up... maybe... pretty sure that day shot is the back big buck from the september pic but i have my doubts on the tall boy... the pic from september seems like that deer is a few inches outside the ears and this deer just does reach the ears... i think they may be brothers a year apart what about yall?

this is a good shot to shot that he is just to the outside of his ears which to me says it is a different deer but feel free to weigh it
but they are definitely related at least cuz the geometry is uncannily similar they also picked a great time to come back since season opens saturday

 

The buck in the back in the first pic is the daylight buck i believe.

 

Yeah I think so too should be a pretty good 9 or just kinda short but glad to see he is wide... I hope the others are different and we have 3 decent bucks but its hard to tell for sure

Oh yeah we had a group of 5 bucks that were tearing the soybeans up when they were still young and tender. 2 of them we could tell were pretty good and 1 was really good and the others were 3 and 4 pointers but we were looking at them at 500+ yards so detail was not the best Ha Ha

Tarsle glands are dark already (almost a month early around here)

 

I never really understood deer and soybeans. They tear them up when the beans are young and green. When they get bigger and turn yellow, deer seem to leave then. I get that, prolly tough or taste different. But when beans are dry and ready to harvest, I rarely see deer in them. Once the beans are picked, here come the deer. So, if a deer will feed on bean stubble or spilled beans, why wouldn't they be in the beans right before harvest?

 

Killed a 10 this evening over some Naked Oats I planted back in late September.
