A Clutching Problem

I have driven my 2019 TRD Sport 4X4 about 5000 miles now, it is an extra effort to get the Clutch pedal all the way to the floor to get smooth shifts. I have been looking around for a" Pedal extender" My dealers Parts department says they don't offer one. I have seen several on line, the most promising is one made for the Mustang. Dose anyone have experience with this issue, and how have you resolved it ? There has to someone with a short legged wife that come across this.

Put a block on the pedal

 

You could put some universal pedal covers on, will give you about 1/2"? I...I mean a friend, did that and he likes having a larger pedal area too.

Just search online, there's a bunch out there. These are the only "TRD" ones I found from a quick google search.

 

Did you have to do CMC to fit those tires?

Yes, I've used the SN95 mustang pedal extension. Found it, not sure it will fit well though

 

If you want smooth shifts, pull out the accumulator. You’ll be buttery smooth after that.

 

1. Accumulator delete - makes clutching much more consistent, highly recommend
2. Adjust clutch height - remove lower dash, unbolt fuse block, unplug clutch switch (green thing), back off lock nut, twist entire clutch switch down as low as possible, tighten lock nut, plug in clutch switch.
3. Adjust clutch engagement point - you can search for how to do this

Wait what? You can adjust the engagement point? have you made it lower, I hate how high it is.
