    I wasn't going to keep clogging up that dudes thread with our discussion. I have been to beaches all up and down the east coast and none have compared to the ones in panama city FLA. The white sugar sand doesn't even stck to you. Of course, it was in 1986 when i was there it may have changed with all the storms since then

    I was stationed at Ft Rucker for AIT and we used to go down there on the weekends. Then, drinking age for Millitary was 18 party party party

    IDK what that means nomenclatures have all changed since i was in. We were basically pathfinders without the badge. Sometimes we carried the full facillities out with us GCA, FCC and tower. Sometimes 2-4 of us with a beacon and radio pack

    That’s what I did in Korea worked out of the TTCS well just a hummer with a generator..I hated it. Here at Ft. Hood I worked in a tower and got my CTO.

    We were Third corps. Our company was split into 5 platoons but HQ was at Hood. I was stationed at Carson. You may have been in the same company I was in then. Small world

    I got a taste of it acting as a backup HLZ NCOiC while my buddy was on R&R. No training, call in the birds and coordinated direction and call wind. No big deal SPC at the time.:anonymous:
