Agreed, that's the one gripe about the cheaper Sony unit I put in my Taco, I can't color match it like my nicer one in the LC. Stupid blue lights are permanently on and they're just accent light, not even for buttons. Maybe I'll open it up and desolder them

Get some color gels like what we use in photography and cut them out in the shape of the areas you want to change the color, lol

I'd go with aging eyes. Mine are more sensitive to light than 10 years ago. Just like my hearing. I'm like benjamin button.

I'm sure they're blue LEDs, because of the way they're constructed they're actually the cheapest LEDs to manufacture too. So most gels in front of blue are just going to make a darker but grosser color.

True, could do red and get a purple color but other than that you're looking at mud colors pretty much. Or maybe a yellow gel and get them to be more green.

Anyway that'd be a lot of work for something that probably wouldn't turn out very well lol

The Sony sony xav-ax1000 unit I have allows me to fully turn off the screen with two taps. The only light left is a dimmed white LED behind the [HOME] button. I'd hit any other flashing karaoke seizure inducing light show stereo with my pulaski.

I just got one from Amazon today exactly like that. Looking forward to using it, I had the one that utilizes the CD player before and it blocked all the controls on the radio and climate knobs

I love this mount. I looked for months, for one that looked like I would like it... and had good reviews.

It is rock solid on the dash... The magnet is rock solid holding the phone... and it's adjustable enough to get it right where I wanted the phone.

I give it 5 stars and 2 thumbs up.

That is the original color of my truck, I have thought about going back to the original color on the next paint job.

You painted over that low production beautiful metal flake purple? Shame sir! Shame! Although I gotta hand it to your painter, I didn't notice any bare spots when you opened your doors.
