    When it's popped up? When I had a CVT, I set it up to fold off the back for shade and cover from the rain. I didn't have a fancy awning.

    I can see the value of that, but I'd think it would limit the places that it could be deployed. Instead of needing a camping space the size of your truck, now you need to double that length.

    Ive had my rtt for 5 years, on 2 different trucks, and have only ever deployed it to the back. It creates a perfect cover for working/cooking on the tailgate, and it takes up less real estate when camping than if it were off to the side. That being said, I also think those rear deployed habitat campers are hideous
