3rd Gen Tacoma Smart Window Control System

Hi Everyone! Welcome to the 3RD GEN TACOMA SMART WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM information and ordering thread. I am stoked to share this with you guys. While I was at SEMA 2019 with my Vendor, this was another one of the items on our list with my truck that we really wanted to test out while I was there in Vegas with them! I had purchased this Harness three years ago and never used it because it came with the wrong connectors. When I hooked up with my Vendor, not thinking they would actually have the match to what I needed, I asked if they had the mate to our Rear OEM Window Connector and they did. I asked to have a sample sent to me so that I could mess around with this harness that had purchased like three years ago. Long story short, not having a wire diagram or anything to go off of, I messed around with this Harness I had stored away for the last couple years and I hooked it up to my truck to see if I could get it to work. First attempt, I noticed my windows were trying to go the opposite direction. So I disconnected it and switched some things around, reconnected it and tried again. It worked!!!! I mentioned it to my Vendor and they have been absolutely amazing and are able to make it for me. The great thing about this product is that it is universal and can be adapted to any make or model as long as I know the OEM Connector and wires. It is 100% Plug-N-Play and now I have a patent pending.

Now....we have taken it a few steps further and have added a couple other mods to this feature. We have added a Window Closer/Opener Harness for the key fob and a Window Multifunctional Auto Control System for the key fob. This is something else my engineer tested at SEMA 2019 on the Truck so that when they went back they could start to make these Plug-N-Play Harnesses.

ONE TOUCH WINDOW AUTO UP/DOWN HARNESS BY KTJO 4x4

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this Kit is to add a One Touch Window Automatic Up/Down Feature for the Toyota Tacoma Rear Windows. This is accomplished by connecting the provided Plug-N-Play OEM “Y” Harness to your OEM Window Switch Connector inside your Driver’s Side and Passenger’s Side Door Panels.

PRODUCT DETAIL:

With this One Touch feature you are able to use your Power Window Master Switch (Driver) for all of the Windows as Auto Up/Down One Touch Operating Buttons on your Switch Panel; as we as, each Passenger is able to use their Power Window Switch Button as an Auto Up/Down One Touch Operating Button on their Switch Panel.

This One Touch Harness also has Anti-Pinch Protection. The windows in the event of an obstacle in the process of automatic suspension, they will pause or go back down as a safety mechanism.

There is no need to Splice/Tap into your Trucks OEM Wire Harness. This New Harness is made with all brand new material including OEM Connectors, Terminals, and Wiring to go with your Trucks Wire Harness located on the 3rd Gen Tacoma in the Driver’s Side Rear and Passenger’s Side Rear Window Switch Panel.
