I bought the oem mat in 06 for my AC. When I sold the AC, I kept it and cut it down to fit my short bed and its still in excellent shape. Now I have a some rubber sheet for home and garage projects.

OEM. Not worth compromising for a few bucks. I paid $84 + tax @ my local dealer

I currently have the OEM mat, but previously had an aftermarket mat. The aftermarket was decent, but OEM definitely better. I frequently see the OEM mats on Craiglsist or Marketplace usually for about $50.

I liked that smell, I have a cover on my bed, and it's just now (around 6 months) not putting off that smell.

Had mine for a few months already. Thing still stinks. Even took it out and scrubbed it with soap to see if that would help and it didn't.

I have the OEM in mine. I won't blow out at speeds up to 80 mph for sure. I've had them in all my trucks since 1985 and never had one stolen. That being said, I did get a little paranoid hanging out on TW. I did bolt this one down. I used a 2" long bolt with a nylon locking nut to slow down any thieves. It's going to take two of them to un-bolt it or one with a sharp knife to steal mine.

I forgot to say, I got mine for $50 off Craigslist. Previously fumigated by the previous owner.

I bought mine from the local dealer for $78, picked up, no shipping.

Interesting. I'm also in CO and the smell went away fairly quickly, even in our temperate climate. Hopefully that goes away soon for you.

Btw, it's a real shame what that Buffalo Bob did to you, son.

I had the dealer throw mine in. I do however have the universal fit Westin tailgate mat and that works well too.

Yeah I don't know what the deal is. It sits in my garage (maybe that's why) but I opened up the tailgate and my windoors every day for a few weeks when I'd get home and it's better but still there.

    Life's a garden. Dig it.

I bought a used F150 mat and cut it down to size.

I got a great CL price on an OEM Long Bed mat from a guy I later learned works in a dealer Parts department for my 2010 AC. I guess I only hope he came by it legally. Anyway, now driving a 2018 SB and kept the mat from my trade in and cut it down to size. Saved the end scrap for working on my Chainsaws on my work bench. Life is like a box of chocolates!

Another vote for the OEM mat - that was my first addition to the truck and its worked flawlessly for me for the past couple years. As others have said, its not that expensive, fits perfectly, has just the right amount of stick, and I've never seen it fly up even in 50mph+ winds. That said, bed mats are not rocket science - if you want to try the cheaper pen mats or one of the other cheap options mentioned here, go for it. I'm sure whatever you pick will work good enough. And if you end up hating the cheap option for whatever reason you can always order a factory mat later.

Exactly. I have OEM and couldn’t be happier with it. Why go through the hassle at this cost? For less than $100 and perfect fit save your time.

Mine came with the truck but I would have absolutely bought OEM.

Yeah, me too. My be mat stunk for many months. Eventually, it did go away.
