Seriously, we need to hit Crabtree or something the next time you're in the Raleigh area. Maybe Brumley?

I guess this is the part where I post my own hardtail pr0n...

I'll be at the TORC night ride this Wed evening at Crabtree and probably trail building in CH at the OEC on Saturday morning, then riding after.

That’s a Krampus right? What fork are you running?

Sadly, it's still sitting in Richmond, but I'm planning to scoop it on my way North for Thanksgiving. If you find some nice gravel for us, we can break its cherry on the 29th.

    Yessir! It's a 2020 Krampus running a 2017 Fox34 27.5+ fork at 120mm -- it's a fairly unique fork that also happens to fit 29x3 without a problem, and the a2c is only 525mm.

Interesting...I’m going to have to do some research on that. I’m not a huge fan of my manitou fork in the stache.

Yes it is, I think it was last week. Rode fountainhead again yesterday though.

CH = Chapel Hill and OEC is at the Outdoor Education Center. We've been building about 2 miles of trail with some natural features behind the OEC in the woods that follow the Disc Golf course.

No, I got my other foot off the pedal, stood up, and then kept riding home, making sure not to try to put my left foot down again, then when I got home, I realized how stuck I was, and just took the shoe off, leaving it clipped in... I haven't had a chance to try to release it yet...

This is the first time I've ever heard of this happening lol. New to me... Oh well, one more thing to check torques on every so often... Live and learn. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@113tac just jam a screw driver in and pry. It's one of those uncommonly common things. I had my left cleat come loose and I could thankfully get out of it still when I noticed it, but it took a VERY exaggerated ankle twist to break free.

I have had it happen to me a few times haha. Sometimes I save the screw sometimes I don’t. Now I’m paranoid and check it all the time haha

edit: I’ve been told to grease the bolt, I’m sure loctite would work too
