After watching some videos of house fires I think I’ll invest in a larger garage fire extinguisher since I weld in there. Gonna go pick up this 17lb one from home depot tomorrow.

A good rule of thumb is to always remain in the area at least 30 minutes post welding or grinding just in case. It's usually not hard to do by the time you cleanup that time has elapsed

Am I a dumb ass for wanting something like this to screw around with and NEVER make a dime off of? Only because sometimes the stuff you want nobody makes. Yeah, you can buy gussets, tabs and so on from dang near any one. but how often is it exactly what you want.

    Happy rainy Monday :(
At least it will help rinse one layer of the dirt off before getting a new layer.

Definitely hard to get the money back that you put into it; need to find a specific buyer for that, IMO. Hell, depending on your mileage and factory options, there are probably dealers around here asking that price for '18 Tacos.

I only say you'll probably miss it because I still miss my '14 that I traded for a '16, then I sold that '16 and got a car (idiot), then I missed having a Tacoma so I bought my current '17. It's apparent that I have issues (expensive at times)...

    ouch... I need help...

so i took my truck off roading saturday. had one damn good time but turned up a skinny trail and before i decided to back out, put many many little pinstripes in my truck.

has anyone found a good way to buff these out? anyone tried the chemical guys, or an orbital buffer?

makes me feel sick a little... 30k and its all scratched. I know its part of the game but... its my baby

Killer deal for a camper shell. I asked and she said (she thinks) it's for a short bed. If it were long bed I'd scoop it up in a heartbeat

Idk about a black truck but on my gray truck I can get most of the small ones out for a littlewith clay bar, polish, then wax. Once it gets dirty again they are somewhat noticeable.

with a more powerful polisher and more aggressive polish you could probably get almost everything out
