Hello, im thinking of buying a 03 tacoma Dbl Cab, 4wd, TRD. 50k miles, the price is $19,000.

This is my issue, your opinion is appreciated in advance,..

Im a college senior, i currently have a 2009 silverado ltz crew cab, i bought it new - i dropped 12k down, and if i trade in right now i can get $6k in positive equity towards the tacoma..

my dilemma is wether or not to do it, i would like to initially owe less on a vehicle (03 taco debt, around $12) currently i owe $19k on 09 silverado...

should i just keep my "new" truck and ride it out, or should i go for the 6 year older tacoma...

    thanks.

that's pretty expensive...i'm guessing it's at a dealer? or privately owned?

there must be other options for tacoma's in your area

I threw down $20k (pre tax) on an '04 double cab with 34k miles and my dumbass financed the whole thing. Why? Because my daily driver was about to drop it's tranny and I didn't have the money to fix it and fuck it, I wanted the Taco.

    Stupid? Yeah.

But I'd do it again ('cept have more cash down).

its a Toyota truck and that's all the modifications needed
Does it have an extended warranty from factory? the 36K is up for the standard, if it has an extended warranty that the original owner had or a Toyota certified Used car warranty from the dealer Id feel more confident on the purchase

every market is different. some markets first gens are rare to come by and therefore worth more. others, there alot of them and they are priced lower.

ps. already tired of the chevy?
