Question about seat covers

Hey guys. I'm new to the forum here but have already gotten lost in the plethora of info about Tacomas. Here's my question:

I have a 2007 Tacoma and the driver's side seat cover has began to come apart. There are threads sticking up and the side of it looks like a troll doll's hair. I'm looking for just factory replacement covers. Any ideas?

Wet okole are the way to go. Best thing i have bought for my truck so far.

Cover King through Costco if you don't want to spend the money on the Wet Okole's.

 

Is there a way to take out the manufacturers covers and replace them with the same thing?

For those prices I'd cover them with wet okole's, or do a katskin leather replacement (takes old covers off and puts leather in place of them)

 

A simple, "Thanks for researching this for me.", would have been nice ..... .

 

I'm not the one who requested info? I'm simply giving my opinion what the OP should do in this case.

A couple of guys on here have mentioned coverking. I am very sorry I spent almost 400 dollars for a front and rear set of neoprene coverkings. Don't do it. They fit very bad (way too tight) especially on the headrests. The stitching is ripping out because they fit so tight. Also other issues with them>

 

Sorry to hear that cinch. Did you put these on sr5 seats or sport seats? How long did it take for the stiching to start coming apart? I have had these for about a month now on sport seats and have had zero issues. They fit perfect and saved me some cash. Hope they dont turn out to be like the ones you describe, but if so, they are only seat covers!!! As long as they keep my seats fresh underneath, I would say money well spent After all, this is a 4x4 pickup.....

 

These are on SR5 seats and they fit so tight they started pulling on the stitches right from the start. It took me hours and hours just to get the front seat covers on because they were so tight and the headrest covers ripped out the velcro's stitching before I could even get them completely on. I haven't even put on the rear seatcovers because I'm so dissapointed in coverking. Also what they call neoprene wet suit material sure looks like a cheap imitation to me.

Here are pics of my seat cover stitching. You can see in the first pic (headrest) that the flap that goes under the headrest will not reach the rear velcro because the cover is way too small. The velcro tab that was on the flap just tore off completely befor I could even get it fastened.

 

Damn man, thats no good! I would try and get my money back if I were you. Dont know why they would fit your sr5 seats so horribly My covers fit great, not to tight at all, and took about 15 min. a seat to install. They look great and I love the material.

 

I'm through trying to deal with them. They originally double charged me and I had a heck of a time trying to get my overcharge back. I finally had to dispute the charge through my credit card company.

Also take a close look at the material, it sure doen't look like neoprene to me.
