Easy install? And any benefit over stock of you don't have any other engine mods?

Passenger side is easy. Driver side not so much. You have to remove the Y pipe. For driver side you have to disconnect the steering shaft, then cuss that mother fucker out to get it to go in. Really, not that bad of a job.

 

I have the same set on my truck and didn't disconnect the steering shaft. It is tight but not impossible to do.

 

For me, disconnecting the steering shaft made it so much easier. They just slid right in with out a fight.

 

I'm supercharged so gains are going to be different for naturally aspirated engines but my understanding is headers are going to give you the most bang for your buck on performance for both forced induction and naturally aspirated engines.

I know when I put mine on i noticed a significant difference. Most of my power gains came on the top end but it made acceleration on the bottom end much smoother.

 

Hmmmmmm I have a Borla Exhaust to. Would probably make it sound a little better. Anything else needed for this?

 

You'll want the O2 sims and the extension harness from URD. The headers remove your cats obviously so the sims keep the computer happy. The extension harnesses allow you to run the O2 sensors in the the merge area rather than the single pipe. Gets you more accurate O2 readings that way.

Nah work the way Mass is with the vehicle inspection etc. Not worth the risk to me thank you.

 

Yeah if you have routine emissions inspections I wouldnt recommend them unless you want to swap back and forth to pass inspection. Most areas in Utah are still not emissions restricted.

It’s a hit or miss with the o2 sim from urd. I have the o2 sim on my 15 an it does not work I email gadget from urd about it and he told me it’s either or hit or miss with 14-15 tacos
