Alternative Treatments/Medicines?

Anybody use alternative treatments to control Health conditions,such as Accupunture,Holistic Treatments,Vitamin therapys,Yoga,Natural Medicine Etc. I curious to what the results were and if you see a Doctor or Specialist who treats you for this,I take Meds for Cholesterol and High Blood Pressure and would like to get off them and try something that has less side affects,most Generic Doctors are totally against this type of thing,I have been looking at Holistic type Docs in my area and checked reviews most seem to be quacks although one may be OK he suggests using Natural Medications before going to Prescription Meds and has alot of Positive reviews from folks. Id like to hear about results and what type of Treatments people use and what works in thier case.
