Okay cool, I can tell you know what you're talking about too which makes helping muuuuuch easier.
Just watched the video and read the thread there and I said basically same crap he did lolol yeah I was picturing correctly in my head based on your description, video confirmed it
In general I'm still thinking the same thing. I don't know if that's what a symptom would be of a failing lspv???

My first vehicle with drums too so i'm trying to make sure im not missing something totally obvious lol. From what i've read, when that valve goes bad I think the brakes drag or stick which is not my case but i'm not sure.

That's what I would think would happen as well, now you say that. And the fronts are for sure locked up when this happens? Not just stopped from turning the rotor, like stopped good?

Yeah, i replaced the pads up front a while back & they were working just fine(rear brakes still weren't working at the time). Its a weird one.

Watch the fluid level in the reservoir when the shoes back off, I guess you'll need someone to push the pedal.
If I was a 100% confident I had no leaks in any lines and had no air in the lines, I'd have no problem opening the master valve as a next step

with the motor off press the brake pedal to bleed the vacuum off of the booster. With a quick stab of the brake pedal back the pressure off just a bit. Does the brake pedal slowly fade away?
You never mentioned if you bleed the load sensing valve... DS rear, follow the lines and you will find it.

If you are pressing the pedal with the drum off you might be introducing air.

I did just gravity bleed the rear and the valve today, fluid looked new and flowed alright. i'm not following what you mean about the other part tho.

with drums on... very important and the vacuum bleed off the booster a quick stab of the brake pedal will expand the lips of the rubber cups on the master cylinder and the wheel cylinders. backing off the pressure just a bit allows the lips to decrease in diameter just a little and this is enough for the rear shoes springs to force the wheel cylinders back. The same thing might happen to the brake master cylinder and when this does happen the brake pedal will slowly fall to the floor.

So yesterday i replaced the lspv, and I used to have at least front brakes. Now i have zero brakes, and the pedal just goes to the floor ever after bleeding them .

Wtf man, this sucks for ya. Gotta be air in the lines. That's the only thing that's changed or been messed with. You using a vac bleeder? Or you got a helper?

I have a helper and I was gravity bleeding them. Maybe just not enough? Pumped them & opened the bleeder about 6 times per wheel, i didn't see any air bubbles but maybe I should just keep on bleeding.

Yeah that sucks to be going through that much fluid, but if bleeders have been opened at all the corners and the lspv and the master cylinder.... There could be a lot of air. But the symptoms you describe definitely point to air in lines as a viable cause

Definitely hombre, good luck. Something that could help that work, and also help tons in trouble shooting in general, is the Mighty-Vac. I love this tool man

I wouldn't worry about the low stars ratings, that's prolly just noobs thinking it should make the job even easier.....
MityVac pump is an awesome auto tool to have

Awesome to hear hermano! Sure, it was a pain, but tons of experience and you know what's been done and messed with and what hasn't... All around a win-win for you I'd say :D
