Something! I mean, I don't have a slow connection, but this insane. I'm willing to leave it overnight, but I wonder if it'll time out.

It’s the PX6 chip processor , check the description and picture they advertised. The internal chip for CarPlay wireless is an add on for $30 when they fabricate the head unit. $362 with canbus harness is super cheap, congrats to those who got that deal on the 11th.

you have to install the version that works for the dasaita units. I think it’s 4.16

edit* using the headunit follow this link. Download and install the apk. You’ll have netflix working after that.

Thanks. I think that's the version I downloaded. Just haven't been able to put it on the headunit yet. Haven't even driven the truck in a few weeks. I'll update when I figure it all out.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
    I've got a weird question...

Some months back, I picked up a mobile hotspot (T-Mobile SyncUp) hoping to use it with the Entune HU for non-voice things, like playing Pandora. This didn't work, of course (Entune know the hotspot isn't a phone, and it wants a phone).

Can this unit recognize both the mobile hotspot and the phone and use each accordingly? In other words, use the hotspot for data, but use the phone for calls?

Why would you want to do that, you ask... Because my phone is employer provided and they're cheap (don't want to spring for hotspotting).

Off the top of my head? Yes. The hotspot would be connected via WiFi where the phone would be via Bluetooth. So it would treat each separately.

At some point I plan on installing a wired hotspot in the truck and running the system like that-which is essentially the same thing.

Link works great! Just decided it was easier your way. It downloaded fast, installed fast, and the app worked perfectly. I imagine I shouldn't update it?

    Thanks again!

Said he over valued one of the shipments, so customs rejected it. I think he valued the harness I bought at $50 and customs rejected it. So he re valued it for $30 and shipped it again. Idk if any of that makes sense.

The front Natika camera has finally been installed and the controls on the PX6 HU worked out nicely. I can do the following things w.r.t. the front camera:
    • While in P, D, and N, I can turn the front video feed on anytime with the FCam App or a long press on the Back Panel Button (I programmed that)
    • Anytime while in the FCam App, I can toggle to the rear
    • When shifting to R, the rear video from the OEM camera turns on automatically. I can also toggle to the front here with a short press on the Back Panel Button

The printed parts (back insert and outer mount) have not yet been sanded, polished, and painted. However, everything has been assembled, wired, and photographed.

looks awesome! Still waiting on my head unit but curious about wiring: there are two red wires, one on the harness and one on the RCA plug. Which one did you connect? Thanks!

I used the yellow RCA connector, ground, and positive (on the camera) wired to the single yellow FCam wire coming from the HU. The last red trigger wire was not used as that is for a reverse signal from the shifter. I also cut all three loops to flip the image up/down, left/right, and remove the parking tramlines.
