FYI A larger Uniball won't increase your usable travel on standard length arms. All your gaining is strength and "longevity" going with Trophy truck part. FYI stick with the standard 1" ball that can be sourced easy and not going to cost you bank for the bearing and weld in cup.

    #baller!!!

Price out some NHBB parts and LMK how that fits into the budget!

    https://nhbb.com/files/catalog_pages/page_8.pdf

It's been years since I have priced out TT parts, it sure has come down in price for sure! I remember Herbst prep dudes couldn't sell the barely used 1.5" uniballs and hiems back in the day since no one else ran parts that big or expensive.

FK is the average person's go to or at least should. That's all I buy for shock rod end replacements.

NHBB is the best of the best and the aerospace go to for bearings.

    FK hook up you say...

Anyone able to confirm the thickness of the front plastic on our bumpers (If you cut them) is 1/8" thick? Looking to order some edge trim, best I could measure was 1/8"

Talk to Michelle Smith at Groove Toyota. I dealt with pretty much every dealer in the front range (even some in Kansas and Nebraska) when shopping for the wife's 4runner. She was by far the best. I emailed her telling her what I wanted to pay and she said ok. I drove in that afternoon and the paperwork was all ready to go at the price I said, no BS, just a quick easy sale. Her number is (720) 880-8384 and her email is msmith@groovetoyota.com

I also had a great experience at Groove purchasing my Tacoma (after checking with every dealership in the state and a handful out of state). So much so that we also went back for my wife's Highlander. I dealt with Austin Leblanc for both.

I also got my Taco at Groove in September right after the 2020s came out. 15 minutes of talking price. Wrote a check. Out in about an hour on a Satuday. So nice when you don't have to deal with any financing BS.

When the cutoff discs come out the full face shield comes out. You dont wanna catch that in your nose, cheek, and or mouth either!

Y'all need to get up close and personal with an angle grinder with a cutoff wheel before you form an opinion.

My mistake was I set it down in an elevated spot. I knocked it and it fell down triggering the switch to the on position. It caught my pant leg on the way down and the rest is history. I still have that grinder but only use it on low risk flap wheels. My primary grinder is now a constant pressure paddle switch rather than a manual switch
