Guess I need to check into it. Probably be like my leaking valve covers, due timing belt, busted cv and a bunch of other stuff and keep putting it off since I never have time to do anything to the truck.

I'm in the same position, with no garage to work in and snow is coming... CV boots, driveshaft slip joint, boxing frame, suspension upgrade, modifying hitch so 32" fits under the bed, bleed brakes, new plugs, air filter, rad cap .... the list goes on. At this point I just do what is most important until a trip is coming, then it becomes a priority to catch up.

The 5.4 Tritons from that era are notorious for crapping out. My coworkers F-150 is on its 3rd motor.

You seriously think they did that because blue is "hard on your eyes"?

Blue is the color of highway signs that indicates "Services" they did that for consistancy... not because of anything to do with blue light, green light, amber light... or any other kind of light.

Oh man ... Will I fit? I measured my new truck height but forgot what I measure now...

I could work remote for a few weeks in Boise this winter and just bring all my parts with me :D
I have a welder friend in PDX that would gladly put his dimple dies to use and box in my frame for me... Not that much more driving if I'm already in Boise.

I missed my turn cause the phone was on the seat. It didn’t happen when I had my 2018 but I new I can come up with something without adhesive. So, with motivation, I went to car toys. I picked this up. Suction cup to the glass behind the bad ass boost gauge.

Right, I wonder why he would stay with it? But then I reread and noticed the lifetime warranty. But still what a hassle

    Okay yeah that isn't true.

But blue light is worse for you eyes. Its simple math. The wavelengths of blue light are much much shorter than red light.

This is also why all phones with "night mode" or computers the screen turns a red hue. Its not adding more red, it's taking away the blue light.

I will. I can hang it landscape or portrait. It’s out of the way. Or at least clustered with the boost gauge. I always look there. No adhesive to mess with the dash. It’s nice. Magic mount. The only downside is no wireless charging with the magnet.

He has a big sticker on his toolbox. "Id rather push my ford than drive a chevrolet"

His other car is a Toyota haha.

Some people may have blue light irritate their eyes more than others, but I do not and will not believe blue light is "worse" for your eyes, than others. Worse meaning more damaging.

Blue light goes deeper in into your eyes and reaches the retina, but that in and of it's self does not neccesarily mean it's more damaging.

Red light, for example, (because we are talking Tacoma dashboards) is more blurry and harder to see... which means you have to stare at it longer to see what you're looking at. So which is worse... blue light, that you can simply glance at... or red light, that you have to stare at?

you may be right in that it's not "bad" for you. But it has been proven to cause fatigue faster and hurt your night vision. So..i'll take the Red/orange since my eyes don't hurt as much and keeps my night vision while driving.
