It made a pretty good difference in that car. Required it to run 91+. I usually prefer to do open source tunes or stand alone but I was trying to spend as little on that car as possible and it was a nice little power gain for the price.

Apparently tunes for our trucks don’t do much. They’re pretty close to tapped out on power.

Yeah I wouldnt see it getting any significant power gains out of them without forced induction. And im too cheap to spend that kind of money on my daily when my racecar NEEDS more hrsprs.

I think I will be installing my lift kit this weekend. Where do ya'll go to get an alignment? I was hoping I could go on Saturday or Sunday, it seems like all the 4x4 shops are closed on weekends. I don't want to take off work to get an alignment. Will Pep Boys know what they are doing?

I went to firestone and told them exactly what I needed numbers wise. the tech had worked on toyotas many times before and he was able to get my numbers perfectly. From what I’ve heard it’s hit or miss with firestone, but tell them the numbers you need and don’t pay until they can get them right or at least close as possible to where you’re happy

    Where are you?

I only take mine to Tandem. They’re great with getting my alignment done.

I literally took mine to southern wheel and tire in dallas. It was down the street and convenient so i thought i would give them a try.... Probably the best alignment ive got in a few years! and it was $95.

I will say that the firestone lifetime alignment deal is sweet! More so if you wheel your truck more than once or twice a year. i almost always come out of a wheeling trip with my alignment off. Not having to pay $100 every time would be nice but not sure i trust firestone anymore will all my past encounters.
Took mine to tandem... steering wheel still a little to the right and pulled right after 3 attempts. Pablo tried to say that "STT Pros just pull to the right" Also later i found that the alignment bolts where not very tight and got another full twist on the nuts.

i will say that he did get my brand new tires to stop rubbing which was the main goal.

Pep boys, depends I guess on location. I'm quite biased on them as I've had nothing but terrible experiences with them and been lied to many many times.
My old taco I went with the Firestone lifetime deal. Awesome deal and I took full advantage of it. You can go every week if you so desire.
My current taco I actually chose Just Tires and have been pretty happy with them. I've had 6 alignments in 4 months (my own fault as I keep messing with my SPC uppers and adjusting the caster more and more) and each one has been pretty spot on. The Just Tires deal is not lifetime like Firestone's but it costs much less. Firestone's I believe is 175-200 can't remember exact pricing. Just Tires is for 3 years at 115.

Gents, have any of you guys used a detail service on wheels? Like the guy that comes and details your truck in your driveway. Any suggestions? I need a wax job from somebody that knows what he's doing. I've got a nasty mud residue I just cannot get off on the passenger side of the truck. TIA
