    I miss the old school barber shop. :( Not one close enough to be convenient, so I go to the Great Clips less than 5 mins from our house.

    In Illinois there was a one room building complete with wood stove that the local farmers and folks went to; old guy cutting hair was 70 some years old. I'd get my haircut then hang out for an hour or more listening and talking...man, those were such great times.

    Hi MQQSE, you’d like this barbershop. It’s got an old guy and his nephew (35ish) cutting hair and the patrons are solving the problems of the country.

    EDIT: First few times I went to the one in Illinois (New Athens about 35 miles SE of Scott AFB) my wife would ask why I was gone so long, after I explained she knew getting a haircut I'd be gone a while. :)
