I’m in Northern California, for reference. Market here in this state is strong.

I paid $24,700 new and State Farm wrote me a check for $29,990 to cover retail value of truck, my suspension and camper shell.

I paid 28k for a brand new access cab auto TRD O.R. in 2013 with 3 miles on it. That's crazy what there going for with that many miles and 7 years old. Mine was a 4x4 also. I think it's crazy what people are willing to spend on a used Taco.

ya they hold value super well. I was also looking at a 2009 TRD OR 4x2, DCSB, had 75k miles for 17,000 and 19,000 out the door. I'm sure I can sell this in a few years without much loss.

I just purchased this 09 TRD OR with only 90k on it for 19K. Rust free SE Vehicle with one owner who kept it garaged. Seats are perfect and so is the paint. He even included sliders that he never used.

Buy the cleanest stock one you can find and start with a good base. Don’t buy someone else’s mess.

Mine was a 2013 DCSB Prerunner with the 2.7, also had 8 miles. I ordered it, took 4 months. Not even a high demand model.

That truck is an embarrassment. Keep searching, there's deals out there. I looked at craigslist 5 times a day for 6 months before I found my truck, a stock dealer maintained 7 year old Access Cab MT 4x4 with 130k for $14,200.

I paid $22k for my 2010 TRD OR auto, from @AR15xAR10 3.5 years ago, with 35k miles. I still think it was a great deal!

What's the beef with the 2012-2015 models? IMO 2014 was the best year of the 2nd Gen, and that's coming from someone with a 2015.

It's interesting that they're charging for the mods, whereas when I went to trade in my last vehicle that was modded the dealership tried to undercut me because of them.

I did get lucky. It was a trade in at a ford dealer that didn’t know what they had and wanted it off the lot because everyone was coming to look at it instead of f150s

Seem like the most basic example of supply and demand. They have all the supply and you have the demand. If it was truly outrageously priced, you'd be down the street buying another truck, not making a post on the forums.

If I was the dealer I would hold it at that price at least for a few months waiting for a rich kid's parents to buy it cash for a 16th birthday present.
